Considering the fact that I myself have created hundreds of images that one could classify as "Digital Artwork", I had to find a new piece of art that I could relate to something i'm not skilled at: traditional artwork.

When somebody thinks of an artist, the general image that comes to mind is either a person who draws images, or a person who paints paintings. However, if you think of a "digital artist" you don't exactly have a vibrant thought to reference and classify the artist as. Don't fret, AJ is here to help you classify the digital artist.

The first thing to know is that Digital Artist's don't work the same as traditional artists do, they have an unlimited amount of space and they can always undo a mistake. Therefore, they strive for pure perfection, even the slightest error in judgement can ruin their piece. There's little room for abstract, because even abstract art has to be carefully planned. Anyways, lets move forward.

I'll classify 3 major Digital Artist Genre's, starting with the Digital Painter.

Digital painting is one of the oldest and foremost forms of digital artwork, however it remains as the most extensive and difficult genre to master in. Here are some amazing digital paintings, sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between a painting and a real photograph!
Digital painting is usually done in Adobe Photoshop, however you can also use programs such as Gimp, and zBrush.

Another large genre of digital artwork is vector art. This is the use of mainly 2D and 3D abstract shapes to create unique designs. Here are a few examples.

My original artwork

This particular form of art is rather interesting, however it has many complications. It's difficult to do this type of art in just Adobe Photoshop, so you'll need another strong program, such as Adobe Illustrator.
Also, the vector work should be really colorful and have a lot going on, but in the end the image should be unique and inspirational.

The next genre is going to be photo manipulations. It's exactly what the name calls it, you take a photograph and tweak/manipulate it to end up with a subtle piece of digital artwork. This is a very popular form of work, and these images can be seen nearly everywhere.

My Original Artwork

My original artwork

This happens to be my favorite form of digital art, because you have to draw inspiration from any and everything around you. The image you chose has to be great quality, an overall amazing photograph otherwise the outcome won't be as good.

When it comes to digital artwork, the sky is the limit. You have an abundant amount of resources to help create the masterpiece you in visioned.

Okay folks, so here's the plot.

A woman made comments on Facebook about her employer, and exchanged conversational comments with other employees about the original comment. The manager saw these comments, and fired her. The woman is holding legal battles saying that her comments areprotected under labor laws.

According to thenextweb.com, this is the very first case of this kind, in which a woman was fired directly based on Facebook comments.

This sparks a very interesting debate; "Should what you say on public websites be held against you in certain situations?".

To take a side, I honestly do believe whatever you put on your public profile should be held against you, because your profile depicts you, in the way you ask it to. So of course, anything you put on there can and will be held against you.

Lauren Fisher of thenextweb.com (source of article) states this,

"If you decide to run a social profile and create content, then it is ultimately your responsibility to decide what you should and shouldn’t write, and you would hope that a bit of common sense should go a long way."

Whats your personal take on this?

I desperately need feedback for ideas on my site, to upgrade it and make it better. Any suggestions?

So, I was EXTREMELY ecstatic to have my wallpaper "Wholed The World" Featured on Abduzeedo's Daily inspiration. It's not exactly easy to have your work considered inspiration, and it's a complete honor! Check it out!

Heres the wallpaper to download.

Google has most definitely become a vocabulary word in the modern home across America. Anytime somebody has a question, the clear result is to "google it". From starting as an algorithm based search engine, Google's type of search was unique as it arrived in the late 1900's. Originally called "BackRub", Google's creators wanted a device on the World Wide Web, that would enhance the ability to cite your sources in papers. They wanted to be able to link articles back to the page originally discovered.

Consequently, Google became a world wide plague, devouring the internet and users of such, and marketing the entire web into their own playground. Not stopping there, Google then enhanced the web with features such as Google Earth - an entirely advanced satellite based image system of the earth, with the capability to zoom up to the front door of your neighbor. Quite ingenious, however Google would not stop there.

The next platform to overtake for Google mobile devices. They teamed up with Android, and T-Mobile to release the G1, the FIRST Android OS cell phone. A mobile phone to truly rival Apple's iPhone.

It seems that no-matter where we arrive on the web, Google has a hand in the arrival. Either they themselves have provided the search engine for one to arrive at such a site, or they have placed a program to allow advertisements on the webpage (Adsense), or they have provided the most popular blogging platform on the web (Blogger!). Now Google has intensified its approach to web searching, with Google Instant.

Google Instant, has revolutionized searching. Real time updates whenever you stroke a key on the keyboard. Instead of wasting precious seconds on clicking Search, Instant provides live links on the webpage that refresh whenever you edit your entry.

It seems as if Google is at the forefront of all aspects when dealing with technology and internet communications. Even Google's main competitor
Apple is following suit with this type of technology.

So what to think? Is Google the Trend-Setter for the web as we see it today? Your thoughts.Sources
